The Mikmar Pelham Bit incorporates the traditional Pelham cheek pieces with the unique light-weight Mikmar mouthpiece, giving you the "Perfect Pelham". This bit operates through both direct action and leverage, using a curb chain or leather curb strap. The cheek pieces are made of the highest quality Stainless Steel available, with brass bushings insuring a "pinch free" fit.The Mikmar Pelham is designed to be used with two separate reins or a single rein with a converter. The Mikmar Pelham affords the rider superior communication and the ability to finesse their ride better, than with other bitting arrangements. Comes with 4.5" cheekpieces. Choose from 5 1/4" or 5 1/2".
