The Thin Mouth Loose Ring Snaffle Bit is a jointed snaffle bit which acts with a nutcracker action on the bars of the mouth, the corners of the mouth and the tongue. As the rider takes a contact on the rein, the horse feels an equal amount of contact on the bit in his mouth. A thin mouthpiece localizes the pressure on the bars of the mouth and is more severe than a normal or thicker mouthpiece. Made of durable stainless steel, this Thin Mouth Dee Ring Snaffle comes in 4 3/4", 5" or 5 1/2".
