Advanced Cetyl M® Joint Action Formula for Horses comes in a granular form, ensuring maximum potency and he greatest benefits for horses. It is uniquely
formulated for optimum results and isn't subjected to the potentially degrading effects of heat and pressure required to create pellets. Cetyl M includes added molasses and apple
flavoring—two of your horse’s favorite treats—to help ensure your horse
consumes the full dose. In fact, we’ve seen horses “lick the bowl” to
get the last few granules at the bottom of the feeder! Comes in a 4.63 LB pail (60 scoops) which is approximately 2 months supply (maintenance level).

** Feeding Directions: For best results, we recommend that you follow these feeding instructions for Advanced Cetyl M® Joint Action Formula for Horses:
- Initial "Loading" Period:
Mix with feed or grain. Depending on severity of symptoms, an initial
“loading” dosage during the first 10 to 30 days is recommended. Feed
an average size horse two scoops (70 grams) twice per day; feed a large
horse three scoops (105 grams) twice per day. Results are usually
evident within three weeks.
- Maintenance Period:
Once desired results are seen, begin administering a maintenance
program of 1 scoop (35 grams) once per day for average horses; 1.5
scoops (53 grams) once per day for large horses. For severe cases or
elderly horses, you may continue at the initial dosage level.
- Monitor your horse's condition closely and adjust treatment levels as may be necessary for optimum results.
- Be sure to make clean, fresh water available at all times.
** Feeding Tip: We
all know that some horses can be a bit picky, so here’s a tip. Add a
small amount of water to Advanced Cetyl M® and then mix it with the
feed. The granules will stick to the feed and even the pickiest horse
will eat it up eagerly!
