AniHist EQ Powder by Animed is the newest in antihistamine/expectorant powder products for use in horses. It is used for the relief of ‘heavey’ horses and ‘barn cough’. AniHist contains Guaifenesin and Pyrilamine Maleate in a palatable cornmeal base.
• Pyrilamine Maleate (anithistamine) is useful in countering the effects of histamines produced by allergic respiratory conditions and coughing.
• Guaifenesin (expectorant) aids in the liquification and removal of respiratory secretions.
AniHist is great for seasonal
allergies. Each Ounce Contains (min): Guaifenesin USP 2400mg, Pyrilamine Maleate USP 600mg. Available in two convenient sizes each packaged with a scoop for ease of dosing. Comes in a 20oz jar or 5lb pail.
** Directions for use: ½ ounce (1 tablespoon) per 1,000 pound body weight.
Or, as recommended by a veterinarian. Can be mixed with feed and repeated at 12 hour intervals as
