Breeding mares and their foals need special supplementation to ensure their good health. Folic Acid is needed for mare and foal health as well as antioxidants, calcium, and iron. Mare supplements such as Mare Magic, Easy Mare, and Mare Plus, help balance a mare’s condition for healthy conception, parturition and lactation. Many mare and foal supplements can also be fed to stallions, but be sure to read the instructions/directions before administering. Also, you should not feed a mare or foal any supplements without first consulting with your veterinarian.
